In helping provide refreshments to Brigada Eskwela volunteers, NHS On-line Community used some of our NHSOC funds remaining from what we've raised last December of 2005, for our 1st year NHSOC Anniversary. In doing so, we were able to provide the Brigada Eskwela volunteers with one day refreshment (For lunch: Chicken Steak; Stir-fried Veggies; Miki-Bijon Guisado; Fresh Fruits and Drink – Sago & Gulaman; For Snacks : Saging con yelo; Macaroni Salad; Egg and Pimiento Sandwich; Fresh Fruits) costing us about P14,729.00 in catering expenses.
This event not only brought together some of our NHSOC active members: Mr. Paulino Baltazar Jr. Batch 19 79, Cherrylene Viola Monreal Batch 1980, Amelia Awitan Batch 1984; Ronald Dalistan Batch 1985; Mr. Odulio Batch 1985; Virgilio Bilaw Jr. Batch 1985; Jojo Maganes Batch 1985; Ramon Flores IV Batch 1986; Edwin Ducusin Batch 1986; Emmanuel Ison Batch 1986; Noe Clavecilla Batch 1986; Alfredo Reyes 86; and Jaime Balanay Batch 1987 in support for Brigada Eskwela but it also helped raised a total of P2,000 from Alumni Donors: Ohwell Simbulan Batch 1980 and Rommel Buriel Batch 1986 (at P1,000.00 each), plus 10 pcs. of “walis tambo” from Cherrylene Viola Monreal Batch 1980.
